Data Architect – Technical

We are looking for a Data Architect – Technical to lead the hands-on implementation of data infrastructure and integrations as part of a major AWS-based data lake initiative. This role will work closely with the Senior Solutions Consultant to build, deploy, and optimize data systems that meet the bank’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and AWS-based infrastructure

• Translate high-level solution designs into technical architecture and executable code

• Build and integrate API connections, data ingestion paths, and transformation layers

• Develop and optimize data lake components using AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena)

• Ensure data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient

• Collaborate with data teams, developers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions

Support ongoing platform optimization and system enhancements

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a data engineer, architect, or developer in enterprise environments

• Strong hands-on skills in Python, SQL, and data pipeline development

• Expertise in AWS services related to data architecture (e.g., Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda)

• Proven ability to deliver complex integrations and data workflows

• Experience in financial services is preferred

• Ability to collaborate closely with strategic roles and adapt technical plans to business needs
